Conditions
Annual membership fees are currently (as at 2024) $40 per year renewable at the start of each financial year (July).
Please note that membership fees are not a garden bed rental. Becoming a member entitles you to be allocated a garden bed or part garden bed when one becomes available but we cannot guarantee that a bed will be provided upon your joining.
Due to the popularity of the garden there is sometimes a list of people waiting for a vacant garden bed and beds are provided on a first come first served basis. The people already on the waiting list will be provided a garden bed first.
There is a reasonable turnover and we build new beds from time to time so it shouldn't be long before a bed is available for you, so your patience is appreciated.
Feel free to ask how many people are waiting and what the expected waiting time might be for you.
By accepting membership you agree to be available for 2 hours a month for volunteer work, including fundraising and general yard duties, this can be helping at the sausage sizzle and plant sale.
You will be free to choose what kind of work you do but there may be times when you will be asked to help at working bees.
